This perpetual trophy was first presented to the winners in 1969, the first time mixed doubles was contested at the US Open. The winners of the 1968 U.S. National Mixed Doubles Championships, Mary-Ann Eisel and Peter Curtis, were inscribed at a later date.The reigning champions in 2023 are Harri Heliovaara of Finland and Anna Danilina of Kazakhstan who defeated Americans Austin Krajicek and Jessica Pegula, 6-3, 6-4.
