1938 Renshaw Cup for Wimbledon Gentlemen’s Singles Championship presented to Don Budge


Budge cruised through the 1938 Wimbledon Championships without dropping a set in his Grand Slam year, losing only four of twenty-two games in the final against England’s Bunny Austin with a dominating score of 6-1, 6-0, 6-3. The Renshaw Cup was one of three trophies presented to the Wimbledon Gentlemen’s Singles Champion.
