1973 Indian Open Men’s Singles Championship Finalist Trophy presented to Malcolm Anderson


Mal Anderson was presented with this unique trophy (a dagger and sheath) following his loss to Vijay Amritraj in five sets (6-4, 5-7, 7-9, 6-3, 11-9) at the Indian Grand Prix Men’s Singles Championship held in New Delhi, India. The Grand Prix, along with the World Championship Tennis, served as the two main tennis tours ahead of the ATP tour, which started in 1990.
