1906 Orange Lawn Tennis Club Middle States Championships Men’s Doubles Runners-Up Trophy presented to Theodore Pell

Theodore Pell was awarded this trophy when he and Harry Torance lost to Bill Larned and Bill Clothier 6-4, 5-7, 6-2, 6-2. Most trophies during this era and even into the present day are predominately made of sterling silver, but this trophy features an Art Nouveau design with a unique ceramic body with a beautiful sterling silver engraved overlay.
